Green Chimneys is an incredible organization that I have had the pleasure of supporting for many years. They are competing in the Pepsi Refresh Project to help homeless and foster-care LGBTQ teens and young adults and they need our help!
Each month Pepsi awards a portion of $1.3 million dollars to the project with the most votes in six categories including Education, Health, and Food & Shelter. With your votes in the month of December, they could win $50,000 to develop a career training program for LGBTQ youth in what they know best, the “green” industries of animal care, environmental education and nature-based programs. At Green Chimneys NYC Division, they provide a safe haven where LGBTQ teens and young adults can develop self-esteem and create futures. Just a few seconds of your time can provide a lifetime of possibilities for these young people.
